Jet is a small town on Hwy 64 in Northwest Oklahoma. Population a little over 300. It is the front door to the Great Salt Plains State Park and the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge. Places to eat are Cadillac Jacks Café and the Jet Jiffy Trip convenience store. The Great Salt Plains Motel is available and there are cabins for rent at the State Park as well as RV Parking.
Drop off point for digging Selenite Chrystal’s at the Salt Plains and Bird watching at the Great Salt Plains State Park and the Wildlife Refuge. Crystal and Birding Festival is the last weekend in April. There are three nice parks. A nice museum. The people are very friendly.
