Major County's best natural attraction is Oklahoma's famous Glass (or Gloss) Mountains. There's a roadside park and hiking trail up one of the mountains. You may also visit the Indian Creek Village Winery or the Plymouth Valley Cellars Vineyard and Winery. The city of Fairview located in Major County has several annual events including a National John Deere Two-Cylinder Show an Old Time Threshing Bee,and Oklahoma’s oldest Free Fly-In and Air Show.
