The Cherokee Strip Museum in Alva, OK, is putting together a Cherokee Strip Land Run Celebration, held on the museum grounds on Friday, September 25, 2009.

This event celebrates on of the most pivotal points in the history of Northwest Oklahoma.  Included in the activities scheduled for the evening are period demonstrations, entertainment, period children’s activities, antique appraisals, and classes held in the one room school house.  Food and homemade ice cream will also be served.  All for a cost of only $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for children 12 and under.
