Dear Artists and Crafters:

I’m excited to announce that April 25th &26th, 2009, is the date set for the 23rd annual Mooreland Arts and Crafts Festival!

Whether you are a long-time participant and friend of the Mooreland Festival… or a new crafter recommended to us for this event… I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to put our festival on your list of shows at which to exhibit this year.

Why attend the Mooreland Arts and Crafts Festival?

Supporting the Art Students of Northwest Oklahoma: The Arts and Crafts Festival is only one part of this unique event… the Northwest Oklahoma Invitational Tournament for the Arts (a juried art show for students from area schools) is also part of the festival. We can now boast an average of over 500 pieces entered each year from all over Western Oklahoma.

Non-profit Event: All money raised goes for student trophies/awards, advertising the even, and basic festival overhead costs.

Popularity with Artists/Crafters: We are a well-established art festival, and have drawn exhibitors from as far away as Missouri, Kansas and Texas… as well as some of the best artists and crafters that Oklahoma offers.

Free Booth Set-Up and Break-Down Assistance: Local art students will be on site at 6 a.m. April 25 to assist with exhibit booth set up, as well as with booth break-down and clean up on April 26. Throughout the weekend, the success of the festival wouldn’t be possible without dedicated help from the Mooreland Jr./Sr. High School Art Students and their families!

Reasonable Booth Rental Rates: Our indoor booth spaces (8′ x 10′) are priced at $40, outdoor booths (8′ x 16′) are only $30.

Basic Festival Details

When: Saturday, April 25th, from 9 am to 6 pm ; Sunday, April 26th, from 1 pm to 6 pm.

What Arts & Crafts: Due to being a school-sponsored event, a few items are not permitted for this event. Please help us keep a fun, safe family atmosphere by not exhibiting firearms, knives, or noisemakers; no drug or gang paraphernalia; and no items displaying nudity or vulgar language. Also, inside booths are not for flea market items or garage sale booths.

Antique dealers and dealers in rare collectibles are welcomed. Booths for these dealers, along with those displaying non handcrafted items and manufactured crafts, will be assigned a special area of their own.
