Exciting weekend in Alva
Make plans this weekend to attend the Nescatunga Arts Festival on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Alva’s downtown square. This year should prove to be even more exciting with the addition of An Evening of Quilts on Friday from 7p.m. until 9 p.m. at the historic Runnymede Hotel.
At 7 p.m. on Saturday the festival activities will conclude with the Johnny Western and the Diamond W Wranglers concert at Herod Hall on the campus of NWOSU. Concert tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Alva Chamber office or from the Alva Fire Department. Proceeds will benefit the Alva Fire Department in their pursuit to purchase a new ladder truck.
For more information on the above activities, contact Alex Mantz at the Alva Chamber of Commerce at 580-327-1647.
